Please note: Some boat emblems are a hard plastic. We do not sell or manufacture that type of emblem. Our product is a vinyl decal (a sticker) that gets a clear resin over the surface. The resin cures into a rubbery coating which makes the decal raised. The surface is smooth, glossy and about 0.20" thick.
